Stir-fried lady finger




This is my 7 years old daughter's favourite vegetable.


To stir fried this veg, you need to put more oil and also keep stirring till cook , then add 1/2 tsp fish sauce, 1/2 tsp oyster sauce, 1/2 tsp cooking wine & a little of water and stir-fry quickly with high heat.

Pizza




Today, I don't feel like making my own pizza crust, a little lazy. I decided to use this packet of crust that I found it in NTUC supermarket, it costs $4.03 for 5 pcs.
It is very easy to make this pizza.
1) take out the crust from the frezzer
2) spread tomatoe paste on it.
3) put all the ingredients and chesse on top. You may put in some italian herbs (my daughter's favourite).
4) put it in the pre heat oven and bake at 170 for 15 to 20 mins.

Mixed veg soup


Ingredients:
4 chicken bones with 1.5litres of water
4 Long beans
1/2 pumpkim
1 stalk celery
1 big potatoe
1 carrot
2 tomatoes
Boil the chicken stock for 2 hrs and drain it .
Then put in all ingredients and boil till soft .
you may add in salt to taste.

Stir-fried pork with Szechuan


I bought this packet of szechuan veg from sheng siong, it costs only $0.30. It is not so salty.

Ingredients :

lean pork (slice thinly), seasoned with light sauce, pepper & corn flour
2 cloves garlic,
1 pack of szechuan veg

1) wash and soak the szechuan veg for 5 mins
2) Heat the wok with oil, when it is hot, throw in the garlic and stir for a while.
3) Put in th lean pork & stir till half cook. Put in the szechuan veg and 1/2 cup of water. Cook till the meat is done.

Pasta


Our dinner for tonight is pasta with meat balls.

My daughter loves the meat balls. I used minced beef & minced pork, breadcrumbs, corn flour, egg, light soy sauce, pepper & Italian herbs.

Western Food


Today, my daughter wants to eat western food for lunch rather than the usual teochew porridge with vegetable. I opened my fridge and I found a packet of frozen dory fish and decided to use that.

I served with egg, hash brown and cucumber .
