Wholemeal bread recipe



Ingredients

100g soft butter
60g sugar
1 tbsp condensed milk
1 tsp salt
1 egg (60g)
15g instant yeast
200g water
50g oat , quick cooking or instant
350g bread flour
200g whole meal flour
20g milk powder


Method:
1. Mix butter, sugar, condensed milk , salt, egg, yeast, water and oat together and beat briefly for 2 -3 mins using medium speed. (kenwood chef mixer)

2. Add in the bread flour and whole meal flour and beat into a smooth dough for about 10 mins using medium or max speed.

3. Divide the dough into 200gm parts and rolls into shape of your choice. Leave dough aside, covered, to proof for about 1 hours .

4. Preheat oven to 180 degress

5. Bake the shaped loaves on the centre rack of the oven for 15 mins .
